Strategic Development - Officials Lead
Help shape the future of dragon boat officiating in Aotearoa - New Zealand.
The New Zealand Dragon Boat Association (NZDBA) is seeking expressions of interest for the volunteer Board portfolio role of Strategic Development - Officials Lead.
This is a key strategic role focused on building and strengthening the national officiating system that supports safe, fair, and sustainable racing across New Zealand. The role will lead the development of officials pathways, accreditation frameworks, training systems, and long-term capability planning for the sport.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in Officiating, Race Management, Sports Administration, or Volunteer leadership.
- Has a passion for the development of people and systems.
- Has great communications skills
- Can work collaboratively with regions, clubs, and volunteers.
- Is passionate about supporting the long-term growth of Dragon Boating in Aoteroa - New Zealand.
This is a volunteer governance role and an amazing opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our sport by helping ensure we have the officials needed to support future growth and success.
