NZDBA recognises that the level of performance in the sport in New Zealand is dependent on us keeping pace with international developments.

Key to this is that we run events to IDBF standards, using IDBF Specification equipment.

Specifically, since the 2007 IDBF World Champs in Sydney, NZDBA has been promoting the import of IDBF Boats from China (Champion Boats) and are now the sole NZ Agent for the Merlin range of Dragon Boat paddles.

NZDBA is also the sole New Zealand agent for the "Swift" range of dragon boat equipment. For example, Auckland DBA has imported several Small Boats (for their Super 12 series). AND we can now offer the Swift Carbon Fibre Paddles, at a very sharp price.
