NZDBA Membership:
New Zealand Dragon Boat Association
The primary purpose of the New Zealand Dragon Boat Association (NZDBA) is to promote and develop dragon boating as a sport in New Zealand. NZDBA has as a core aim the intention to assist teams to compete both nationally and internationally. NZDBA as an organisation is integral to the growth of the sport in New Zealand.
Membership of NZDBA is compulsory for any team competing in a dragon boat event within New Zealand. International teams should be members of their own national body. Membership to NZDBA is available to both teams and individuals.
The 2009/2010 season fees have been set as follows:

Individuals $75 + gst

School Teams $25 + gst

Adult Teams $150 + gst
Teams need to be financial members of NZDBA in order to receive a letter of affiliation which will help them to meet the requirements of the various funding bodies within New Zealand such as NZ Community Trust, Canterbury Community Trust, Southern Trust etc. For more information about potential funders and affiliation letters please contact the NZDBA secretary:
